Emma Kerrigan | Manager
Bethany Davis | Assistant Manager
Emma is in her second year as a Music student at Stephenson College, and is excited for her second year of singing with Chamber Choir!
Emma was an Alto with DUCC in her first year, alongside partaking in projects with the Phoenix Consort, such as recording an album of choral works by composer Alexander Campkin. When at home in Bath, Emma has sung with the Bath Abbey choirs, and is looking forward to partaking in more college chapel choirs in her next year at University. Throughout her time of choral singing, Emma has sung in venues such as La Sagrada Familia, and has been a part of choral recordings for BBC 3.
Beyond the world of choral music, Emma enjoys learning French, in which she has studied alongside music in her first year. She is a keen instrumentalist, who plays violin, piano and guitar. Emma is looking forward to the new cohort of singers next year, and can’t wait to see what this amazing ensemble will achieve!
Bethany is in her final year as a CHSS student at Van Mildert college, studying Economics and History. She is looking forward to her return to singing in the Chamber Choir, having spent the past year at Mannheim University in Germany.
During her time at Durham, she has been a soprano in DUCC, a choral scholar in University College Chapel Choir, and has enjoyed depping in a number of other chapel choirs. Using this experience, she hopes to uphold the Chamber Choir’s reputation within the music scene in Durham, whilst planning some exciting concerts over the next year!

Arielle Loewinger | Conductor
Arielle is in her final year studying music. Having previously served as the Musical Director of Hatfield Chapel Choir, she has gained valuable experience and is excited to continue her journey as a conductor at Durham. While at Hatfield, she led the choir in performances across the UK and internationally. Now she is enthusiastic about expanding Chamber Choir’s presence beyond Durham, sharing their music with a wider audience.
As well as being a choral scholar at St John’s College, Arielle sung with Durham University Chamber Choir in her first two years at university, providing her with insight and experience that now informs her role as its conductor.
Arielle is eager to continue enhancing the choir’s musical output in her final year, and promises an exciting year ahead for the choir.
