'now sleeps the crimson petal'
Durham University Chamber Choir presents ‘now sleeps the crimson petal’ – a concert marrying the floral imagery, Marian texts and atmospheric Advent repertoire. Join us as we travel from the Renaissance world of Sheppard, the luxurious polyphony of Pearsall, and the contemporary work of Tarney and Newton-Rex. At the centre of our programme is the masterwork of Paul Mealor, ‘A Spotless Rose’, and Richard Marlow’s ‘Advent Responsory’. Tickets available on the door or on the Music Durham website.
Tickets can be purchased on the door or at: https://www.musicdurham.org/event/now-sleeps-the-crimson-petal/#tribe-tickets
